Salman Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming projects. The superstar had just wrapped up an international project in Saudi Arabia but didn’t take a break. He landed in Mumbai on February 24 and was back on set the next day.
It is because the makers of Sikandar decided to add a surprise post-credit song at the last minute!
Salman Khan Shoots Surprise Post-Credit Song For Sikandar
A mid-day report revealed that this high-energy track is being shot at Royal Gold Studios in Film City, Goregaon. A source from the production revealed that the idea came up suddenly, but Salman and producer Sajid Nadiadwala believed it would be a great way to grab the audience’s attention. The song is being filmed on a grand scale and will play a major role in the film’s promotions.
This isn’t just another song and it’s set to be a visual treat. If everything goes as planned, the shoot will wrap up within a week. Once done, director AR Murugadoss will officially complete work on Sikandar. The film starring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead was originally set to finish earlier, but the schedule has now been extended to March 8.
2-Day Rajkot Shoot Was Planned Initially
The team had initially planned a two-day shoot in Rajkot, but those scenes were instead filmed in Mumbai. The source also highlighted how music has always played a crucial role in Salman’s films. Songs like “Jumme Ki Raat” and “Swag Se Swagat” have been huge hits, and this new track is expected to have a similar impact.
Sikandar is slated for release during Eid 2025. The exact date has not been announced yet. However, reports are claiming that makers might skip the common Friday release and bring the film on Sunday instead.
