Salman Khan fans are buzzing with excitement for Sikandar. Every new update about the film is eagerly awaited, and the latest one is here to intensify the anticipation.
After their blockbuster hit Kick in 2014, Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are reuniting for the highly anticipated film Sikandar. Directed by AR Murugadoss, this new venture brings together a stellar cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Kajal Aggarwal. The team is currently deep into a marathon 45-day filming schedule at a lavish studio in Mumbai.
Sharman Joshi Joins The Cast Of Sikandar
Adding to the excitement, Sharman Joshi has just joined the Sikandar team. Sources close to the production revealed to Pinkvilla that Joshi is playing a crucial role in the film. “Sharam and Salman share a very unique dynamic in Sikandar, and the former has already started shooting for his part in the film. He has been present on the set all throughout and plays a key catalyst in Sikandar’s journey. The film marks the first proper collaboration of Salman and Sharman and the audience is on for a treat to see them share a special bond” said a source.
Makers Aiming To Conclude The Shoot By Dec 2024
The current phase of production includes filming talkie sequences and songs on a grand set valued at Rs 15 crore. After finishing up in Mumbai, the crew will head to Hyderabad for a month-long shoot at a palace setting. Sikandar is slated for an Eid 2025 release, with the team aiming to complete filming by December 2024.
The film’s music, composed by Pritam, promises a mix of upbeat dance tracks, romantic melodies, and an emotional ballad. Following Sikandar, Salman Khan will shift focus to his next project with director Atlee, which is expected to start in January or February 2025. Discussions are underway for Kamal Haasan to join the cast as a parallel lead.
