Ajay Devgn has returned to shoot Son of Sardaar 2, just days after the massive success of Singham Again. The actor was spotted in Mumbai on Thursday, November 7, as filming for the long-awaited sequel to the 2012 comedy-action film resumed.

Ajay was seen sporting a red turban paired with an all-black outfit, looking every bit the part of his character in the film. A leaked video from the set shows him in between scenes, ready to dive back into the high-energy world of Son Of Sardaar 2.

Despite Singham Again breaking box office records, Ajay has wasted no time in getting back to work. He has resumed the film’s Mumbai schedule after a month-long shoot overseas.
What We Know About The Film So Far
The sequel to Son of Sardaar comes over 12 years after the original, which had Ajay’s character trying to win over Sonakshi Sinha’s character by impressing her brother, played by Sanjay Dutt.
However, Son of Sardaar 2 will be a new chapter. It has been confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha will not reprise her role, and the plot will take a different direction. A release date for the film has yet to be announced.
While Ajay is set to return to the franchise, fans are left wondering how the film will tie into the first one, or if it will take a fresh approach. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the sequel has already had a bumpy ride during its production. One of the major controversies surrounding the film involves Sanjay Dutt, who has faced visa issues.
Reports revealed that Dutt’s UK visa was rejected due to his involvement in the 1993 Bombay bombings case, which had a significant impact on his participation in the film. After delays and uncertainty, he has been back and forth in the project.
In addition, there were some internal cast changes. Vijay Raaz, who was initially part of the film, was reportedly replaced by Sanjay Mishra due to behavioural issues.
