The Theatrical Experience Is About to Go Even Bigger!
While all eyes are on Kajol’s impending mythological horror drama Maa, there will be icing on the cake for fans when the teaser for Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited comedy sequel Son Of Sardaar 2 plays alongside Maa on the big screen.
The Perfect Family Crossover: Teaser Drop Planned to Perfection
A source told trade,
“It all came together seamlessly. Both Son Of Sardaar 2 and Maa are produced by Devgn Films, and Jio Studios. SOS 2 is just over a month away from its theatrical release, and it was a perfect time for a teaser to be released. The teams decided to attach the teaser along with Maa so consciousness of SOS 2 could reach a large theatrical audience.”
Luckily, fans won’t have to wait until June 27 to see SOS 2‘s teaser. The teaser will be released digitally on Tuesday, June 24, allowing audiences to get a taste of Jassi’s madness before they even enter cinemas.
All Eyes On Maa – And The Surprise Teaser!
Maa features Kajol, Kherin Sharma, Ronit Bose Roy, and Indraneil Sengupta in supporting roles. Directed by Vishal Furia, who is known for his spine-tingling Chhorii franchise, the trailer launch was just one of the highlights that already had heads turning on May 29!
Kajol was teasing how she simply
“got cast beginning from home,”
and Ajay Devgn couldn’t help himself and had some fun telling everyone that,
“Koi bhi husband apni wife ko hi cast karega!”
The fact that Devgn Films attached the teaser for Son Of Sardaar 2 to Maa was not only a savvy tactical move, but also a fitting way to celebrate the two creating a unique occasion by releasing in tandem!
