
In a recent update, Sonam Kapoor has bagged yet another project. ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress is all set to star in the Hindi version of the Korean film ‘The Blind’.
The film is already being remade in Tamil, starring Nayanthara. According to the reports, the Tamil version of the film is already halfway through.
The buzz in the Btown suggests that Shome Makhija will be directing the Hindi version and ‘Badla’ fame Sujoy Gosh will serve as the creative producer. Although nothing is officially announced yet.
Sonam’s last release was ‘The Zoya Factor’ this year. While the film failed to have much critical or commercial impact upon release this may be another chance for her to set her game.
2011 released Korean based film Blind is a crime thriller that revolves around a missing person’s case. The film which was directed by Ahn Sang-hoon starring Kim Ha-neul and Yoo Seung-ho & was critically acclaimed and also went on to win two regional awards.
The Tamil version of the film has been titled Netrikann which is being produced by the actress’s fiance Vignesh Shivan.
