Sonu Sood who turned out to be the ‘Masiha’ for migrant workers has taken another set to help the needy in these difficult times of global pandemic. According to the latest report he arranged an airlift for around 170 migrants, from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

The flight took off at around 2 p.m from Mumbai and landed after 4.30 at Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport. Sonu expressed that it was a priceless feeling to see the workers boarding the flight with a big smile, as air travel was a first for most of them. The kind hearted actor also wants to arrange more such flights for them in the coming days.

A few days back he arranged an airlift for 170 women stuck in Kerala, who used to work as embroidery artists at a local factory and had no work due to lockdown. The women, belonging to Orissa, were lifted from Kochi airport and landed at Bhuvaneshwar airport.

The actor has already organized numerous buses for the migrants and also set up a toll-free number to assist with the process.
