While at this time when the whole world is fighting with the deadly coronavirus many celebrities have stepped forward to help and support the relief cause. Recently Sonu Sood has also shown his generousness by offering his hotel in Mumbai as a residential facility for healthcare workers.
The actor has also started the initiative to feed the needy affected by the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown. The actor along with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is helping those who are in need.
It is also reported that Sonu is providing meals to more than 45,000 people in Mumbai every day in areas like Andheri, Jogeshwari, Juhu, and Bandra.
Talking to a daily the Simmba actor said, “Some of us are blessed to have food and shelter, but there are many who have not had meals in days“.
The actor’s drive is called Shakti Annadanam, he named the dive after his father’s name.
