Love Hostel, a crime thriller backed by Shah Rukh Khan, will premiere on Zee5 on February 25, the company said on Friday. The film stars Vikrant Massey, Sanya Malhotra, and Bobby Deol and is written and directed by Shanker Raman, who also directed the critically praised Pankaj Tripathi-starrer Gurgaon.

The film is Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment’s second partnership with ZEE5, following the release of Abhishek Bachchan’s Bob Biswas on the streaming platform.

Love Hostel is a film set in rural North India that follows the perilous journey of a young couple being pursued by a cruel mercenary.

The star-crossed lovers take on the entire world and then some more in search of their fairytale ending. This is a survival tale in the game of power, money and principles with mayhem and bloodshed, as per the official synopsis.

After the critically acclaimed 2020 film Kaamyaab, Love Hostel is the second collaboration between Red Chillies Entertainment and Drishyam Films. Drishyam Films producer Manish Mundra expressed his delight at the opportunity to work with Red Chillies once more. Gauri Khan, Mundra, and Verma are the producers of Love Hostel. The film is a Drishyam Films production that is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment.
