Shah Rukh Khan, who had a four-month hiatus last October to deal with personal difficulties, has finally returned to the sets. The superstar and Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra commenced filming for Atlee’s commercial entertainer at Goregaon’s Film City Studios, where they would shoot some key action and dramatic moments until February. He’ll next return to complete Siddharth Anand’s spy thriller Pathan, which was put on hold after SRK’s son Aryan Khan was jailed in connection with a drugs-on-cruise case, and then again owing to an increase in Omicron cases in India. We’ve heard that now that King Khan is back at work, his Rajkumar Hirani project will start shooting soon.

Now, it has been learnt that on April 15, Shah Rukh will begin filming for the highly anticipated Rajkumar Hirani social comedy. The first short schedule will take place at Mumbai’s Film City Studios, where a massive set replicating a Punjab village is being built. The sets for the Punjab segments have already begun to be built, and they will be ready by March 31st. The filmmakers also intend to shoot in Punjab’s Sarson ka khet in April or May, although no dates have been set yet. Apart from a 10-day schedule planned in Budapest later this year, the yet-untitled film will reportedly be shot primarily in Mumbai and the United Kingdom.
