SS Rajamouli is easily one of the most successful filmmakers in India. His last venture, the period action drama RRR not only stirred the box office in India but also did crazy numbers in the United States. The film also went on to receive the Academy Award for Best Song. Since then, fans have been waiting with bated-breathe for his next project. In his career, Rajamouli has worked with several superstars like Ram Charan, Prabhas, and Jr. NTR. But now, media reports suggest that he will be teaming up with Mahesh Babu. The film is tentatively titled SSMB 29. With a mysterious and intriguing title, the film has already generated a substantial buzz.
Rajamouli and his team plan to officially announce the film on the 48th birthday of Mahesh Babu, which is on August 9. The celebrated director will take around two months to complete the script. Post the announcement, he will once again narrate the story to Mahesh after which they will proceed further. The post-production of SSMB29 is expected to start in early 2024.
With such an exciting body of work and films like Baahubali, Eega, and RRR under his belt, anything Rajamouli touches turns into gold. He has become an international filmmaker, enjoying fame across countries like no other Indian director. SSMB29 is reportedly a jungle adventure film that is expected to hit the silver screen across the globe sometime in 2025.

Upcoming Films Of Mahesh Babu
Currently, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is busy filming for the action-drama Guntur Kaaram. The film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role. It is slated to release theatrically on January 13, 2024. Mahesh was last seen in the 2022 action drama Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
Made on a budget of 70 crores, it minted nearly 180 crores at the global box office, becoming the third highest-grossing Telugu film of the year. Last year, he also produced the biographical action drama Major, which was based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. He also produced Sarkaru Vaari Paata and narrated Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi’s Acharya.
