Stree 2 is set for its World TV Premiere tonight. It offers much more than what the original film brought to theatres. This special screening will also feature exclusive deleted scenes, including Rajkummar Rao’s viral female disguise that had fans buzzing.

During a recent roundtable chat, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and director Amar Kaushik shared fun behind-the-scenes stories. They also discussed Rajkummar’s transformation into a woman. The cast couldn’t stop laughing, joking that he gave Shraddha serious competition.
These deleted scenes make the film’s horror and comedy even better. Fans will get a deeper look into the characters and the scenes that didn’t make it to the final cut. You can watch it on Star Gold tonight at 8 pm.
About The Film
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is the sequel to the 2018 hit Stree and a key part of the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. It also features surprise cameos by Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar.
The story follows Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and his friends as they face a new supernatural threat, Sarkata. This headless ghost terrorises Chanderi, abducting women. To defeat it, Vicky must team up with the mysterious woman (Shraddha Kapoor). The film, packed with horror, comedy, and drama, runs for 149 minutes.
The production took place in Chanderi and Bihar, capturing the film’s eerie atmosphere. Sachin–Jigar composed the soundtrack, while Justin Varghese worked on the background score. The film also connects to other Maddock Universe hits like Bhediya and Roohi.
The film became a box office success and crossed Rs 800 crores worldwide. It ranked among Bollywood’s highest-grossing films and won praise for its gripping story, humour, and performances.
