Sunny Deol’s upcoming movie Jaat will hit cinemas on April 10, 2025, just before the Baisakhi festival. The release date is perfect for the actor, as many in the Punjabi community, where Sunny has a huge fan following, celebrate Baisakhi on April 13. The film aims to take advantage of this festive season, with no major Hindi films releasing on the same day.
Fans eager for more details will get a first look at the action-packed teaser attached to the prints of Pushpa 2 – The Rule, which releases on December 5. Both films are produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and while they shared the teaser news with a poster, the exact release date of Jaat wasn’t revealed at that time.

Earlier, Jaat was set to release on January 24, 2025, during the Republic Day weekend. However, due to delays in post-production and filming, the release date was pushed to April 10. A source shared with Bollywood Hungama that the new timing around Baisakhi feels like the right moment for the film’s release.
The teaser will first be shown in theatres before being available online, giving fans an exclusive preview of the film. Jaat will compete with Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, which is also set to release on April 10. The Raja Saab, a Telugu film, stars Prabhas in a double role, alongside Malavika Mohanan and Sanjay Dutt, and will be released widely in Hindi as well.
