Directed by his father, David Dhawan, and produced by Tips Industries, this comic entertainer was initially slated for October 2, 2025—coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. Entertainment journalist Rahul Raut took to social media, suggesting that the new Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari date might lead to a postponement of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
However, it’s worth noting that the makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai—which marks the fourth collaboration between Varun and David Dhawan after hits like Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2—have not yet confirmed any postponement. Moviegoers will need to await an official update to clarify the film’s status. If delayed, this could strategically avoid a box-office clash within Varun’s own lineup, ensuring both films get their moment in the spotlight.
