Shah Rukh Khan inaugurated the Kolkata International Film Festival 2021 virtually. The event was attended by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee along with many dignitaries and artistes from the entertainment industry.
Taking the opportunity, CM Mamata Banarjee also announced that there will be now 100 per cent occupancy in cinema halls due to the fall in daily coronavirus cases.
Earlier the CM twitted, ‘Together we will overcome this pandemic. But the show must go on. We are going ahead with #KIFF 2021 virtually, on a smaller scale. Glad that my brother @iamsrk will join us virtually at the inaugural event on Jan 8, 4pm. Watch Kolkata International Film Festival live’.
