In the final report of the AIIMS forensic panel, set up to assist the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the medical investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput has claimed that the actor has not been murdered.
The actor’s case was given to the five-member team who called it a case of suicide, rejecting the claims of poisoning and strangling made by the actor’s family and their lawyer.
However, CBI which is investigating the death is yet to confirm AIIMS findings. According to a media report media board of AIIMS forensic experts, headed by Dr Sudhir Gupta, was set up in August to look into the medical files related to Rajput’s death and study the autopsy and viscera reports.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said, “let’s wait for the CBI to declare this officially.”
