Sushant Singh Rajput Case: FIR Against Fake Social Media Profiles Spreading Propaganda Has Been Filed

Ever since the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, social media played an important role in raising many questions and concerning the death of the actor. However, there is no doubt that some social media platforms have been using this incident for politicizing and targeting some specific people.

According to the information most of these social media accounts are fake. It has been observed that from the past few months Mumbai police and ruling political allies in Maharashtra has been targeting on the social media. It has also been observed that some specifically posts are targeting the Mumbai Police Commissioner. These accounts are spread over Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Now according to the information, an FIR has been lodged against such accounts. It has been learned that from all the accounts some are fake while some are real profiles. The complaint has been lodged under the 67 IT act. As per DCP Rashmi Karandikar, these profiles are targeting commissioner and Mumbai police with abusive language.

An FIR have also been lodged against the profile user who has morphed the image of Commissioner’s official Twitter account.

Meanwhile, Dr Sudhir Gupta, the doctor who led AIIMS in their final verdict clarified his stand in the case calling it a suicide and not murder. However, there are reports that the final report has been allegedly tempered. AIIMS’ report was sent to the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) for further investigation.

The CBI official has been quoted as saying, “The Medical Board has submitted the report directly to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as required. Being a legal matter, any inputs on the report submitted by the Medical Board would have to be obtained from the CBI.”
