In connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s sucide Mumbai police have so far questioned various celebrities and the members of the entertainment industry.
Now filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is also called up to record his statement with the Mumbai Police. It has been informed by Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on July 26.
“Mahesh Bhatt will record his statement in a day or two,” Mr. Deshmukh told reporters.
It was reported that the Police had summoned Karan Johar’s manager to record her statement in matters pertaining to the case. However, according to the reports Apoorva Mehta, the CEO of Dharma Productions has received a summon.
A summon has also been sent to Kangana Ranaut, “Summons have also been sent to actor Kangana Ranaut, asking her to record her statement,” the Minister said.
Earlier, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, filmmaker and Yash Raj Films (YRF) chairman Aditya Chopra and film critic Rajeev Masand have also recorded their statement.
