On Friday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained an alleged drug peddler in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The suspect was a former neighbour of the late actor and was said to be on the run.

Sahil Shah nicknamed Flacko, 31, was arrested after returning to the city from Dubai, according to NCB officers. According to reports, Sahil’s name came up during the investigation of a suspect in a drug case involving Sushant’s death. Officials will examine Sahil about a marijuana seizure case from last year and Sushant’s death in 2020.
Sahil had been on the run for nine months, according to reports, when the NCB published his name in connection with their investigation into the drugs case. Sahil had submitted a plea to avoid arrest in the matter in June 2021, after it was reported that he was the main suspect in the agency’s narcotics investigation into Sushant’s death.
In April of last year, NCB director Sameer Wankhede said that Sahil used to distribute drugs to Karan Arora and Abbas Lakhani, who were both detained in the SSR case.
