Sushant Singh Rajput Case: NCB Registers Criminal Case Of Drugs Against Rhea Chakraborty, Hospital Denied About Giving Her Permission To Visit Mortuary

After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput his body was taken to the Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital, for post-mortem. Dr. Pinakin Gujjar who is dean of the hospital claims that no permission was granted to Rhea Chalroborty to visit the mortuary.

The state Human Right Commission (SHRC) summoned Gujjar on Monday for questioning over the alleged mortuary access given to Rhea. However, he denied that claim and said no such incident had happened.

So far Rhea has been questioned for over 26 hours by the CBI. 10 hours on Friday and seven hours on Saturday while the questioning continued for nine hour on Sunday.

Meanwhile, ED also called Goa-based hotelier Gaurav Arya in connection with a money-laundering probe linked to Rhea. He was called after the ED came across some messages reportedly sent by Rhea to him in 2017 . The messages purportedly indicate discussion of certain banned narcotics.

The Narcotics Control Bureau is also involved in the case as it has the drugs angle. The NCB has also identified two men, Farookh Sheikh alias Farookh Batata and Bakul Chandalia, who are reportedly involved in supplying drugs in the Bollywood circle. The agency is most likely to question the two men in the case.
