Taapsee Pannu, since her debut in Bollywood, has been a torchbearer for meaningful cinema in Bollywood. She has done a couple of project’s here & there, which she keeps joking about doing them for ‘box office’ numbers. But her performances in movies like Mulk, Manmarziyaan, Pink have been a stepping stone for her.
She was last seen in Saand Ki Aankh alongside Bhumi Pednekar and both of them were lauded for their performances. They both played the roles of Shooting Dadis named Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar.
On the other hand we have Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bollywood’s one of the finest directors, who is currently busy with Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai. It’s been said that Bhansali is keen on roping in Taapsee Pannu for one of his upcoming films. Reports also suggest that Taapsee will be seen playing a double role in the film.
The movie, reportedly, has been titled as Sia Jia. Shabina Khan is said to co-produce the mentioned project & the plot of the film will be something very unique, never-seen-before in Bollywood.
