Taapsee Pannu who was last seen in Saand Ki Aankh, had an eventful year with her previous film Badla doing tremendously well. She was also recently seen doing standup comedy in Amazon’s show One Mic Stand. Now she is all prepped up for her upcoming films.
Now, according to the latest buzz, the actress has been roped in for a film which will be a joint production between Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar production. News also is that Mirzapur’s Vikrant Massey has also been approached for the leading role. The genre being said is mystery drama.
The reason behind this pairing is that the makers wanted to try a couple who has never been seen together before. Owing to the genre, makers also wanted to maintain a certain mystery around their characters.
It’s also been said that the movie will be shot in the North and hence they wanted the actors who can fit in the roles. Shoot locations aren’t finalised yet but it will be capturing the scenic beauty of North India. It will be directed by Vinil Matthews who gave Sidharth Malhotra & Parineeti Chopra a movie to remember for a lifetime – Hasee Toh Phasee.
