Taapsee Pannu, who has been in Bollywood, Telugu, and Tamil films, is now filming Annabelle Subramaniam with Vijay Sethupathi and director Deepak Sundarajan. The actress has now been cast in yet another sci-fi film.
Taapsee Pannu will star in a pan-Indian science fiction film directed by Barath Neelkantan, who also helmed the thriller K-13.
A source revealed that, “the movie will be a science-fiction film that deals with aliens; in fact, its title will be Alien. But the story will be a fresh take on the genre. It will not have any influence on the many Hollywood alien films we have seen so far. The director has come up with a premise that explores how aliens might be in a country like India.”

According to sources, the untitled movie would have a massive budget and visual effects. The director, Barath Neelkantan, has also disclosed that the crew of this future film has already began pre-production work, but it is unclear when filming will begin
