Taapsee Takes A Dig At Boycott Gang For Aamir, Akshay Films; Asks To Do Same For Dobaaraa

B-town has consistently observed a tendency on social media about films being boycotted for one reason or another.

Dobaaraa, a new-age thriller by Ektaa R. Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap, has generated a lot of hype for its intriguing plot that delves deeply into the field of time travel. While the movie is gaining popularity for its positive aspects, the lead actress Taapsee Pannu and the director Anurag Kashyap have been spotted calling for a boycott of their movie.

While Anurag Kashyap’s directorial Dobaaraa is set for its release, the director was seen sharing his views in an interview about the boycott trend saying- “I am feeling left even I want ki meri film boycott karo please make our film trend on Twitter by boycotting”, while adding to this the lead cast Taapsee Pannu added, ” Yes please boycott Dobaaraa trend karva do we also want to get a trend on Twitter”.

The director-actor team behind Dobaaraa has clarified how this trend benefits the movie in some manner with such a remark. Additionally, B-town has consistently observed a tendency on social media about films being boycotted for one reason or another; the dramatic increase in this trend these days does, however, result in films receiving more attention.

Dobaara is a brutal cliffhanger that is fundamentally highly edgy and has a feel that might make you gasp for air. Dobaaraa, directed by Anurag Kashyap, is being co-produced by Sunir Khetarpal’s ATHENA and Ekta Kapoor’s Cult Movies.
