About Chandu Champion
Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion tells the story of a sportsman’s resilience and determination, with Kartik Aaryan playing the role of Chandu. The film is reportedly based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist in freestyle swimming.
Professionally, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. He also made a cameo appearance in the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor last year.
