Tara Sutaria First Look From Toxic Out Now: Actress Introduced As Enigmatic Rebecca In Yash Starrer Pan India Film

Tara Sutaria has been introduced as Rebecca in Yash‘s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. The actress makes her pan India debut with this film, marking a bold new chapter in her career. The first look poster shows Tara in a never before seen avatar that has fans excited.

After unveiling the first looks of Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth and Nayanthara as Ganga, the makers have now revealed Tara as the desirable, enigmatic and fragile Rebecca. With every character introduction, the film continues to amplify its scale and ambition.

Tara Sutaria Breaks Her Pretty Girl Image

Rebecca is described as elegant yet powerful. She wields authority like a second skin and possesses an instinct for self preservation. The first look poster shows her as a gilded mess with a trigger finger. She appears fragile and beautifully unraveled.

Known for her poise and luminous screen presence, Tara is set to shatter her pretty girl archetype. She is trading her polished image for the gritty, volatile world of Toxic. This marks a significant departure from her previous roles.

Director Praises Tara’s Performance

Director Geetu Mohandas shared her experience of working with Tara. She said that she always felt an instinctive urge to protect the actress. She realized early on that the best way to reach Tara was by allowing her the space to simply be.

Geetu added that Tara observed more than she spoke and listened more than she revealed. When she finally stepped into her performance, what emerged was nothing short of breathtaking. The director expressed confidence that Tara will surprise everyone with her work.

Massive Technical Team Behind Film

Toxic boasts a formidable technical team. National Award winner Rajeev Ravi serves as cinematographer while Ravi Basrur handles the music. The action is choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry, who worked on John Wick, alongside National Award winning duo Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.

The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas. It has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
