Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan has set a storm at the box office. The YRF spy thriller, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has made significant headway at the box office and has already surpassed Rs 500 crore overseas with its opening weekend take.
The Siddharth Anand-directed movie even cracked the top five earnings list at the North American box office, which is a significant accomplishment for a movie that has only had five days of theatrical release. Srk starrer Pathaan has entered the 300 crore club in just 6 days. It also beat off top 5 fastest entrants like KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali 2, Dangal, Sanju.
After the blockbuster hit ‘Pathaan’ the whole cast gathered together at ‘Pathaan’s first media event in Mumbai to speak about the film’s massive success. Shah Rukh, Deepika, John along with director Siddharth Anand joined the first press conference of Pathaan.

“First of all, thank you very much for being here. I am here to answer your questions. The most important thing is that people who are loving the film but aren’t here, on behalf of everyone, I want to say a big thank you for the love you’ve given to Pathaan,” says Shah Rukh Khan.
“When a film doesn’t become a hit, I still get this much love. My elders had told me when things go wrong, go to the people who love you. My fortune that I have billions of people who love me. When I am sad, I come to my balcony. When I’m happy, I come to the balcony. God is so kind that he’s given me a lifetime ticket of balcony,” say Shah Rukh Khan.
“This is the first time in my career that I was nervous. Gauri had asked me, ‘Can you sleep before a release?’ I had told her I sleep easily. But this time, I just couldn’t sleep. Our film was coming out at 6, so the heart started beating fast. I now know why, because the film was about to be a blockbuster. From now, I won’t sleep before any release,” says Pathaan director Siddharth Anand.
