Thalapathy Vijay, the Tamil superstar, has announced his next film project with filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. The film is tentatively titled Thalapathy 68 and will be Vijay’s 68th big-screen effort. The announcement was made by Vijay himself on his social media account.
With his fans already brimming with excitement for the much-anticipated film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy Vijay has unveiled a momentous revelation that is bound to elevate the spirits of his devoted admirers to celestial heights.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, the Tamil superstar announced that his next feature film would be with filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, who is known for helming blockbuster projects such as Chennai 600028 (2007), Saroja (2008), Goa (2010), Mankatha (2011), and Maanaadu (2021).

The film will be directed by Venkat Prabhu, who will also write the script. AGS Entertainment is backing the project, and Archana Kalpathi will be the creative producer for the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music for the movie. This is the second collaboration between Vijay and AGS Entertainment after Bigil. The production house has promised that Thalapathy 68 will be an entertainer that will be loved across all audiences and will boast of the best technicians of global standards and the highest production values.
