Shah Rukh Khan has been unveiling projects nonstop recently, and the majority of them are already generating insane buzz on social media. One of the films, Jawan, is in collaboration with south Indian director Atlee, who is known for such successes as Theri and Bigil. The most recent speculations state that Thalapathy Vijay, who is friends with both the director and SRK, will appear in the film in a cameo role and that he won’t be charging anything.
For those who are unaware, the teaser for Jawan was released only a few weeks ago, and the audience was blown away by SRK’s portrayal of a fierce action hero. Along with Khan, the film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, two well-known actors from the south.
Indiaglitz reported that Thalapathy Vijay will have a little part in the movie and that he has no plans to get paid for it. This is not the first time a south celebrity has accepted a call like this; in the past, Suriya was rumoured to have participated in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect for free.
According to the same report, Thalapathy Vijay and the rest of the Jawan cast will also begin filming for the film during Shah Rukh Khan’s 25-day Chennai shoot, which is expected to take place in September of this year. According to rumours, he will devote one day to the project and won’t accept payment because SRK and Atlee are close friends of his.
