Actress Rashmika Mandanna has been giving fans a sneak peek into her vampire-comedy film Thama for quite some time. She has shared another set of BTS photos and it seems like the night shoots are wearing her out.
The recently shared behind-the-scenes moments during the shoot of this Ayushmann Khurrana starrer & showed what a ‘bloody night’ shoot really feels like.
Rashmika Mandanna Gives A Glimpse Into Her ‘Bloody Night’ Shoot Of Thama
On Instagram stories, Rashmika shared candid pictures capturing her exhaustion. In one, she was seen hugging a pillow in her car, seemingly knocked out after an all-nighter. The rising sun in the background hinted at how long the shoot lasted. Dressed in a black T-shirt and cargo pants, she looked completely drained after wrapping up the schedule.
In another post, Rashmika was in her makeup room, holding a glass with “Thama Night Shoot” written on it. She wrote, “Hmmm…night shoots…how much I love night shoots…clearly.! @aditya_a_sarpotdar sir knows very well. #Thama.”
She also shared a picture of the moon and called it a “bloody night.” Her caption read, “Thama night be like…Bloody night it looks like… #Thama day 16.”
Director Aditya Sarpotdar joined the fun by reposting her story with the caption, “Ha ha…as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.”
Thama Shoot Was Delayed Due To Rashmika’s Leg Injury
The journey of Thama hasn’t been smooth. The film was delayed for one and a half months due to Rashmika’s leg injury. A recent Mid-Day report stated that the production team adjusted their schedule, and filming resumed with a new plan. The team is currently shooting in Delhi but will move to Film City on March 27. Sets replicating Delhi’s streets and houses have been built for the next phase. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also set to join the shoot.
Directed by Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar, Thama also features Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in important roles. Backed by Maddock Films and Dinesh Vijan, the film is set for a big Diwali 2025 release.
Meanwhile, Rashmika has a busy schedule ahead. Besides Thama, she has several exciting projects, including Sikandar, The Girlfriend, Rainbow, Kuberaa, and Pushpa 3. She is now gearing up for her appearance in Sikandar alongside Salman Khan.
