The fans of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe were treated to a legendary night in Delhi. For the first time ever in Indian cinema, producer Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films unveiled the first 20 minutes of their highly anticipated film, Thamma, to an auditorium packed with thousands of fans.
This special screening was a historic moment, as it allowed the audience to see a large part of the film before anyone else in the world. The event, which also featured stars like Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, was all about celebrating the fans who have made the MHCU a huge success.
A New Fan Ritual Begins
The night was filled with energy, hosted by comedians Biswa Kalyan Rath and Divay Agarwal. The excitement went up a notch with special appearances by characters like Bhediya and Stree. Amidst all the cheering, Dinesh Vijan took the stage and made a big promise.
“This is the beginning of a fan ritual,” he announced. “From now on, fans will see a glimpse of the film before the world. We’re building a universe that belongs to its fans.” This statement confirms that the makers plan to continue this tradition with all their upcoming horror-comedies, making the fans a central part of their moviemaking journey.

The event was a star-studded affair. Cinematic icons Paresh Rawal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rashmika Mandanna, and Ayushmann Khurrana joined director Aditya Sarpotdar and producer Dinesh Vijan on stage. They all came together to celebrate the growing universe with their biggest supporters.
The reaction to the 20-minute preview was electric. The crowd was screaming, laughing, and clapping throughout the screening. However, sources from the event say that the loudest cheers of the night were reserved for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s appearance on screen, which sent the audience into a complete frenzy.
