In a recent chat with Harper’s Bazaar, Kareena discussed her thoughts on crossing over to Hollywood. She said, “I’ve achieved everything I set out to and I never had a burning ambition to break into Hollywood or act in English-language films.”
The actress emphasised that her goals have always been centred around meaningful work rather than global fame.
Kareena, who was last seen in Crew, expressed satisfaction with her career and life. She explained, “My ambitions are about meaningful work and staying true to myself. I’m ambitious, but I’m also grounded in what I have and where I am.” Her focus remains on her craft and personal values rather than chasing international projects
The actress also shared that she prefers to be recognised for her acting rather than her appearance. “I’ve never actively pursued Hollywood,” she noted. Kareena’s approach to her career has been about comfort in her space and making an impact through her work in Bollywood.
Kareena’s Professional Front
Talking about her work front, Kareena is gearing up for the release of The Buckingham Murders. This film not only stars her but also marks her debut as a producer.
She is co-producing the project with Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor. The film, directed by Hansal Mehta, features Ash Tandon, Keith Allen, and Ranveer Brar.
