The Kerala Story 2 Day 7 Box Office Collection: Film Posts Solid Weekday Hold, Finishes Opening Week At Rs 20.25 Crore Nett In India

In a box office season where the weekend often decides a film’s fate, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond has shown it is willing to fight its battle on the weekdays too. The Hindi drama has continued to pull audiences into cinemas after its opening weekend, managing to stay steady through its first full week and signalling a run that may outlast louder, more star-driven releases.

The film’s momentum has been driven by consistency rather than spikes, with its daily trend suggesting that the sequel has found a niche audience that is returning even after the initial rush.

Opening Week Closes At Rs 20.25 Crore Nett In India

By the end of Day 7, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond stood at Rs 20.15 crore nett at the Indian box office. On its first Thursday, the film added an estimated Rs 2 crore, registering a drop of about 33 percent from the previous day, a hold that is being read as encouraging for a title without conventional star power.

The day-wise nett figures across the opening week were led by a sharp weekend, followed by stable weekday business: Rs 0.65 crore on Friday, Rs 4.50 crore on Saturday, Rs 4.60 crore on Sunday, Rs 2 crore on Monday, Rs 3.50 crore on Tuesday, Rs 3 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 2 crore on Thursday, taking it to the Rs 20.25 crore total.

For the makers, the hold is especially important because it positions the sequel as a film that can continue building through word of mouth, rather than burning out after a front-loaded start.
