Sidharth Malhotra And Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan Trailer Cleared Ua 16+ With 2 Minutes 57 Seconds Runtime Before September 25 Debut

The countdown for The Vvaan has picked up pace with a crisp, concrete update that fans watch closely in the run-up to a major release. The film’s trailer has now been cleared UA 16+, and its approved length stands at 2 minutes 57 seconds, putting Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s dark fantasy title firmly into the next phase of its pre-release push before it arrives in cinemas on September 25, 2026.

It is the kind of certification update that instantly sharpens curiosity, especially for a film selling mood, mythology and menace. With the trailer now locked, attention shifts from basic announcement material to what the full cut is expected to reveal about the scale of the film’s supernatural world, the dynamic between its leads, and the danger lurking at the heart of its forest-bound story.

Trailer Clearance Sets Up The Big Reveal

For a fantasy thriller, a nearly three-minute trailer is usually where the real sell begins. It gives the makers enough room to establish the film’s rules, hint at the conflict, and deepen the intrigue without handing over the entire plot. In The Vvaan‘s case, that matters because the project has been positioned less as a conventional star vehicle and more as an immersive folklore-driven spectacle.

The UA 16+ tag also aligns neatly with that tone. It suggests the trailer may lean into darker imagery and heightened tension, which would fit the film’s mysterious visual identity so far. More importantly, this clearance now clears the runway for a fuller look at the world the film has been carefully teasing.

What The Vvaan Brings To The Screen

That world is anchored by a creative package built around genre and atmosphere. The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Arunabh Kumar, with Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia leading the cast. Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul, Shweta Tiwari and Anup Soni are also part of the ensemble.

Backed by Balaji Motion Pictures, TVF Motion Pictures and 11:11 Productions, the film is mounted as a folklore fantasy thriller. Its story has been kept largely under wraps, but the broad setup points to a mystery rooted in a forbidding forest landscape, with myth and supernatural danger driving the central narrative.

Where The Film Fits In Sidharth Malhotra’s Lineup

For Sidharth Malhotra, The Vvaan stands out because it extends his move toward larger, more stylised genre storytelling. After the 2024 theatrical release Yodha, he also featured in the 2023 streaming film Mission Majnu and the 2024 series Indian Police Force, both of which leaned on action and intensity. His last theatrical release was Param Sundari in 2025.

The Vvaan pushes that image into fantasy terrain, giving him a distinctly different canvas just as his 2026 slate turns toward event-style theatrical material.

Tamannaah Bhatia Returns To Dark Fantasy Space

Tamannaah Bhatia arrives at The Vvaan from a run that has balanced streaming visibility with genre experimentation. Her 2023 series Jee Karda and Aakhri Sach showed sharply different shades, while Odela 2 in 2025 kept her connected to a darker, supernatural zone. She also made a special appearance in Raid 2 in 2025. That makes The Vvaan a particularly interesting fit now, placing her back in an eerie, high-concept world, this time within a Hindi theatrical project mounted on a bigger scale. She is also shooting for another horror film Ragini 3.
