Rajkummar Rao who has recently given us Made In China, will be soon collaborating with Priyanka Chopra for the Netflix film The White Tiger.
He has said that he is looking forward to working with her. He also hoped that they will have good time while shooting for the film.
During a chat show, Rajkummar Rao said, “I’m very excited. I’m super-duper thrilled, nervous also because I know it will be a different process but a process I’m pretty sure I’m gonna enjoy. Just live the part. I met PC, we’ve had couple of reading sessions and she is a great girl. I’m going to have some New York accent and put in a bit of a New York accent.”
Adding more to this Rajkummar Rao said, “I’m still under training. I’ll do it but, you’ll see it in the film. I’m keeping it for that. But PC is a very chilled out girl, she is a really really great actor. Like how she would come up with ideas and we would improvise and she would be completely involved. That’s a great quality I think.”
The White Tiger is an adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name.
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao recent hit is Made In China, along with Mouni Roy. The film is directed by Mikhul Mussale and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock films. His upcoming films are Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan and Hardik Mehta’s Roohi Afza.
On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra will star in a film with Mindy Kaling that will be shot in India and America. PeeCee’s Purple Pebble Pictures and Mindy’s Kaling International will produce the film.
