The trailer of Netflix’s film Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao, Adarsh Gourav starrer The White Tiger is out. The film is an adaptation from the Arvind Adiga’s novel of the same name.
The trailer looks dramatic and gives the gist of the drama that is going to unfold in the film, which highlights the poignant class divide in the Indian society. The film will premiere on Netflix from January 22.
Priyanka and Rajkummar are playing the role of a rich couple who returns from the US. The couple belongs to an affluent business family of the city. While Adarsh plays a role of an under the privileged boy, who works as a driver at the couple’s place.
Directed by Ramin Bahrani, the trailer of the film is seen with Balram Halwai narrating his journey and his dreams about becoming a successful entrepreneur. The story takes a twist when the driver’s masters try to trap him in a road accident to save themselves, he rebels and ventures out on his own to become a businessman.
