ZEE5 today announced the world digital premiere of Ghoomer. The movie features Shabana Azmi, Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi and a special appearance by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Helmed by R. Balki, Ghoomer is all set to make its digital premiere on 10th November on ZEE5.
Produced by Hope Film Makers and Saraswati Entertainment, Saiyami Kher plays Anina Dixit, a talented cricketer whose dreams are shattered by a tragic accident leading to the loss of her right arm. Paddy (played by Abhishek Bachchan), a former test cricketer, becomes her coach and helps her become the first-ever one-armed spinner, propelling her to play for the Indian National Team. The coach gives her new hope, trains her with unconventional techniques and invents a Ghoomer bowling style to turn her fate around. Ghoomer shows how people can win over tough times and get another shot at success by beating all odds.

Ghoomer Was Theatrical Disaster With Under 7 Cr Lifetime
All the actors who had ‘so called’ hit on OTT are meeting their fate at box office. Theatrical release is reality check as millions of streaming are not being converted at box office. Dasvi and Bob Biswas were claimed to be ott hits and same star opens to poor numbers at box office. Zero credibility of ott numbers are fully visible here.
Film struggled to cross 0.90 cr net on day one. There was not much hope from here onwards and even with average jumps fate will not be changed.
Film jumped by 33% and collected 1.20 cr net. Film collected 1.45 cr net on Sunday with slim growth. Film had poor weekend total of 3.55 cr. Film collected poor 5.55 cr net in week one and will not add much beyond it. It finished under 6.50-7 cr net which is a disaster number for the film. Film failed to receive its P & A cost with poor 2.75 cr theatrical share at best.

Saturday: 1.20 cr (33% jump)
Sunday: 1.45 cr (20% jump)
Weekdays: 2 cr
Total: 5.55 cr net
