Pathaan released on January 25, 2023, which is full of drama and action which is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone in lead roles and will have John Abraham as antagonist. It showcases an undercover police official and drug lord. Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have worked on its music. It released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu.
The latest bollywood news is that Alia Bhatt has now spoken on the breaking box office records of the film and called it a “biggest blockbuster of the Indian cinema”. She also slammed boycott calls trend to every film. Pathaan has received Rs. 591 crore collections worldwide, inching closer to Rs 600 mark.
“A film like Pathaan is not just a blockbuster but the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema. These are moments when you are just grateful and pray that yeh hota jaye and hota rahe,” Indian Express quoted Alia as saying. Breaking her silence on boycott calls being made for every film, she stated, “I don’t think we have so much aggression in us. We are just grateful to be working, and living our dreams on a daily basis. We also believe we belong to our audience and they can say whatever as long as we are entertaining them. They can say anything they want but we will continue to do well.”
Varun and Alia were present at the launch of the Zee Cine Awards 2023 on Tuesday. Varun said, “Main kuch bolna nahi chahta (I don’t want to say anything). Films acchi chal rahi hai, why should we discuss it. The collection is speaking of the reach of Indian cinema, Hindi cinema.
