THIS is the reason why Akshay Kumar & team Ram Setu will shoot climax in Daman & not Sri Lanka!

The Ooty schedule for Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushrratt Bharuccha's next film Ram Setu was recently completed.

Ram Setu, starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushratt Bharuccha, is the next big thing in Bollywood. The film has made headlines for a number of reasons, the most notable of which being that numerous staff members, including Akshay Kumar, tested positive for Covid-19 during the first leg of production. The team’s Ooty schedule was recently completed. According to sources, they were planning to shoot large segments of the film in Sri Lanka. However, an insider from the film crew has told India Today that due to permission complications, the group has decided to film in Daman rather than Sri Lanka.

The word on the street is that the film crew was delighted to shoot significant sequences in Sri Lanka, including the film’s conclusion, but that travel was problematic due to the pandemic and quarantine measures.

An informed insider from the film unit reveals, “The initial plan was to shoot the major underwater scenes and ocean shots in Sri Lanka. But that’s not possible. So after doing some research and on-location recce, the team has finalised Daman as their next-best bet to shoot these sequences.”
