SS Rajamouli, who is quite popular for action and fantasy films, works primarily in Telugu Cinema. His films include RRR, Bahubali: The Beginning, Rowdy Rathore, Chatrapathi, Student No 1 and others. He is prominent for his fantasy, action and epic genre films and is a Padma Shri awardee in 2016.
In 2012, When his film Eega released, many dodged the South Indian Cinema and now there are Hindi remakes of South movies. It was SRK who understood the importance of movies as seen now how such films perform well. He seemingly came out and supported SS Rajamouli back then.

Meanwhile, at Beyond Fest held in the US recently, SS Rajamouli stated about his upcoming “globetrotting action adventure” with actor Mahesh Babu. He is also hopeful for RRR to be listed for Oscars for India’s official entry as being currently the contender to Chhello Show.
