The much-awaited trailer of Tiger 3, the third instalment of the Tiger series and fifth film in YRF Spy Universe franchise, was released today and it has left the fans in awe. The trailer showcases Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as Tiger and Zoya, the super spies who take on a new mission to save their family from a threat.

Emotion And Action Packed Tiger 3 trailer out now
The trailer is packed with high emotions, high-octane action sequences, stunning visuals and a gripping plot. The trailer also introduces Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist.
The film also follows the events of Hrithik Roshan starrer War and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan.
In the trailer, we are reunited with Tiger (Salman) and Zoya (Katrina) but they have a bigger obstacle in their way. Emraan Hashmi who plays a ruthless terrorist leader, has held Tiger captive in Pakistan. The actor’s salt-and-pepper look, which was kept under guards for months, is finally revealed as the closing shot is showcased, setting the stage for an intense face-off between Emraan and Salman.
Emraan Hashmi, is hell bent on taking revenge on him, for something Tiger (unknowingly) did to him in the past. This time the war has become personal and Tiger has to choose between saving his family or country. The trailer ends with Salman’s viral dialogue from ‘Tiger Ka Message’, “Jab Tak Tiger Mara nahi tab tak haara nahi”.
The trailer follows the beats of the Tiger franchise, driven primarily by drama and emotions. This is quite a stark contrast from Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, of the same spy universe, which was more flamboyant, lighter in tonality and thrived on style.

Tiger 3 Release Date Officially Out
The makers have officially announced November 12 as release date with the trailer which is a Sunday and day of Diwali. It’s unconventional for makers to release a film on Sunday.
“Tiger 3 will arrive in cinemas on Sunday, November 12. The trend nowadays is to release the film on post-Diwali but YRF has made a smart decision to bring it on the day of the Festival of Lights.”a source had told earlier.
The source explained, “Salman Khan fans and general moviegoers will come in hordes on the release day, as it is one of the most awaited films of 2023. The post-Diwali holiday will fall on Monday, November 13 in certain states and in certain states on Tuesday, November 14. Meanwhile, Bhaidooj holiday will fall on Wednesday, November 15. There will be some post-Diwali holiday effect on Thursday, November 16. And then of course comes the weekend.”
The source added, “Hence, Tiger 3 will have the benefit of holidays from Sunday November 12 to Sunday November 19. As a result, expect records to be broken this Diwali!”
Salman Khan on Tiger 3’s intense plot and action sequences
In a statement, Salman Khan had earlier said that Tiger 3 will have a “really intense storyline” that will hook the audience from the start. He also said that the film will have some never-seen-before action sequences that will blow everyone’s mind.
“The team has really pushed the envelope of action with Tiger 3. It had to be spectacular. There was no other option”, he said. Khan added, “Expect the unexpected from the trailer & the film and get ready for an action entertainer that will have a really intense storyline. For me, Tiger 3’s story is what hooked me instantly. I couldn’t believe what Adi and the team had come up with! This is definitely Tiger’s most dangerous mission and he has to risk his life to stand a chance.”
The actor also expressed his love for the action genre and said that he enjoyed doing the “massively mounted action sequences” in the film. He said that he felt “like a child” when he was shooting for those scenes.
YRF’s Spy Universe Becomes Biggest Brand In Indian Cinema
Tiger 3 is the third film in the Tiger franchise, which started with Ek Tha Tiger (2012), directed by Kabir Khan. The film was a huge success and established Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as one of the most loved on-screen pairs in Bollywood. The sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, was also a massive hit and broke several records at the box office.
Tiger 3 is also the fifth film in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan. The spy universe is a unique concept that brings together some of the biggest stars of Bollywood as secret agents who work for different agencies but sometimes cross paths or team up for a common goal. Salman Khan had a cameo appearance as Tiger in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan earlier this year, which hinted at a crossover between the two films. It is also reported that Shah Rukh Khan will have a special extended cameo as Pathaan in Tiger 3.
Tiger 3 is slated to release on Diwali 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film is expected to be a blockbuster hit and break all the box office records.
