While the nation is under lockdown there are only frontline works who are fighting with the pandemic. Apart from medical service, our police force has been working nonstop day and night to enforce protocol during these difficult times.
To horner and express gratitude towards Maharashtra Police, many celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vaani Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, among others have altered their social media profile pictures to Maharashtra police logo.
The initiative was taken by State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh who urged the public to change their social media display pictures.
State Home Minister wrote on Twitter, “Maharashtra Police has stood by citizens thro’ calamities, attacks & disasters. Today as they lead the war on Corona on the streets, I’ve decided to celebrate them by changing my DP on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc to the Maharashtra Police logo. Join me in this endeavour.”
