
Joining the list of postponed films due to the Covid-19 outbreak, Tom Cruise starrer Top Gun: Maverick is now pushed for December 2020.
Amid the health crisis the anticipated sequel to the 1986 classic which was scheduled for June 24 release now hit the theatres on December 23.
On Thursday Tom took his social media handle to share the news, “I know many of you have waited 34 years. Unfortunately, it will be a little longer. Top Gun: Maverick will fly this December. Stay safe, everyone”.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski the film also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis and Danny Ramirez.
