Triptii Dimri Locked To Play Parveen Babi In A Netflix Web Series
Reports about the project have been circulating for a while. Initially, there was speculation about who would play the lead role. Now, sources confirm that Animal actress Triptii Dimri has been finalised for the role.
A source told Filmfare, “Triptii’s dates have been locked. Director Shonali Bose and her team are working fast to start the shoot on this ambitious project.”
Shonali Bose (known for directing The Sky Is Pink) is expected to bring a compelling vision to the series. The casting of other key characters is still under discussion. Parveen Babi shared close associations with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actor Kabir Bedi. It remains to be seen if their characters will be part of the story.
Her Work Front
Triptii Dimri has been gaining recognition for her performances. She was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan. She is currently filming Arjun Ustara, which stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.
Besides this, She also has Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi lined up for release.
