At Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan, and their children Aryan and AbRam proudly raised the Indian Tricolor. In a video shared on his Instagram, Shah Rukh, Gauri, Aryan and AbRam were seen standing on their terrace while AbRam with the help of police personnel hoisted the Indian flag while the others saluted with pride. In the captions, SRK wrote, “Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly.”
Trolls began criticising the celebrity for his display of patriotism, though. Hateful people went on a vicious social media rampage, posting anything from offensive religious statements to critical comments about his films.
One of the top actors in the nation faced trolls even as the country celebrated a magnificent Independence Day. Such offensive remarks are the last thing anyone would want on such a momentous occasion, and we vehemently rejects such internet hatred. Nobody’s patriotism should ever be called into doubt because of their choice of religion.
