The arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in a drug operation has sparked national conversation. The star kid’s bail application has been refused yet again by a special NDPS court in Mumbai. While the legal process continues, SRK and Gauri Khan have received industry support. Twinkle Khanna, an actress-turned-author, has also weighed in on the arrest, comparing it to Netflix’s hit Korean comedy Squid Game.
She mentioned the marbles game that was featured in one of the episodes and expressed her thoughts about Aryan’s detention. Aside from that, the actress brought up the social concerns that India has been dealing with for a long time.
Twinkle wrote, “Each player is given ten marbles and must get their opponent’s marbles by competing in any game of their choosing. In this episode, one of the strongest candidates is badgered and ultimately bamboozled into losing his marbles.”
Twinkle revealed that she misplaced her marble when SRK’s son was arrested. “I seem to have misplaced mine as well when I read the news about Shah Rukh Khan’s son’s arrest,” she wrote.
“While his friend was apparently carrying 6 gm of charas, there is reportedly no evidence of possession by Aryan Khan. Yet, the young boy has been languishing in Arthur Road jail for almost two weeks now,” she added.
She went on to slam a popular Indian news anchor and said, “I suppose I feel like emulating one of Arnab’s dramatic proclamations where he once said, ‘Mujhe drug do, mujhe drugs do,’ because I need some heavy-duty psychotropic substances to make sense of this development.”
Following the arrest of their son Aryan, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s lives have taken a sudden turn, and they are reportedly having restless nights. They’ve been keeping a close eye on the case and keeping an eye on Aryan’s health as well.
