A fan discovered an interesting part of Gehraiyaan after it was released on Amazon Prime Video on Friday. An alert fan pointed spotted a photo frame featuring Deepika Padukone and her sister Anisha Padukone’s childhood photo in a scene from the film on Twitter.

The netizen posted a screenshot of the incident along with the original photo, saying, “Love that #Gehraiyaan put a portrait of Anisha and Deepika among the family portraits.”

Another person quoted it on Twitter and wrote, “I don’t know of it’s her idea or the director’s but I absolutely love it when something like this happens. The picture with Papa Padukone in cocktail in 2012 to a picture with Anisha in Gehraiyaan in 2022.”
Deepika and Anisha Padukone are the children of Prakash Padukone and his wife Ujjala. Deepika had previously stated in one of her Instagram AMA sessions that she is the closest to her sister, aside from her husband Ranveer Singh.

In addition to Deepika Padukone, the film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa. Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur play pivotal roles. On February 12, 2022, the film was released.
