The world of Udta Teer is getting louder, stranger and far more musical. After the trailer introduced Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in Aakash Kaushik’s offbeat spy comedy, the makers have now unveiled the film’s first song, Bhootni Ka, a fast-moving, character-packed track that leans fully into the chaos the film has been promising.
Composed by Sachin-Jigar, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and sung by Kaka, Twinkle Agrrwal and Amitabh Bhattacharya, the number folds several of the film’s players into one bustling sequence, with Ayushmann, Sara Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Mukul Dev, Gulshan Grover and Ram Kapoor all featuring as the song keeps shifting in mood, pace and texture.
Bhootni Ka Doubles Down On The Film’s Quirky Energy
What makes Bhootni Ka stand out is its constant tonal shift. The song races through cheeky lyrics, quick rhythm changes and a lively arrangement that mirrors the comic confusion already visible in the trailer. Rather than playing like a conventional dance number, it feels built to reflect the film’s eccentric narrative pulse.
Composer Sachin-Jigar said, “’Bhootni Ka’ was genuinely a lot of fun to compose because Amitabh Bhai had written the lyrics in a way that kept you guessing about what was coming next. The challenge was to make the music support that confusion and still keep the song catchy. We kept playing with the pace, the sounds and the arrangement so that the song always feels like it is about to take another turn. That made the process really exciting. It’s a fun song, but getting the balance right was not as easy as it sounds.”
Kaka added, “Lyrics sunke mujhe story jaanne ki bohot curiosity hui. Main soch raha tha ki itna energetic gaana hai, thoda funny hai, aur itna different sound kar raha hai, toh film mein exactly chal kya raha hai? Recording ke time bhi mere mind mein yehi thought tha ki iske peeche koi interesting story zaroor hogi. Ab teaser dekhne ke baad toh curiosity aur badh gayi hai, because characters aur situations ko dekhke aur bhi questions aa rahe hain. Yaar, mujhe toh bata dete script kya hai! Gaana bhi record kar liya, teaser bhi dekh liya, but story jaanne ki excitement abhi bhi bani hui hai. Ab bas film dekhne ka wait hai.”
Twinkle Agrrwal said, “’Bhootni Ka’ was a really fun song to record because there is so much happening in the lyrics. You have to keep the energy going while making sure every word lands. Kaka brought such a fun energy to it, and I really enjoyed matching that. It is the kind of song that puts you in a good mood while you are singing it.”

Why Bhootni Ka Matters For Udta Teer Now
With Udta Teer releasing on October 9, 2026, Bhootni Ka does an important bit of early heavy lifting for the campaign. It does not just add a soundtrack update to the film’s rollout, it underlines the film’s comic unpredictability and ensemble energy in a format that is easier to circulate and revisit before release. Coming after the trailer, the song strengthens the sense that Udta Teer is leaning into an unapologetically quirky space, using music not as a pause in the storytelling but as an extension of the film’s oddball world.
