Udta Teer is starting to look like one of those films that knows exactly how to sell its vibe before release day. In the span of a few days, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan starrer has unveiled a lively trailer, followed it with Bhootni Ka, and then switched gears with Choozay. Instead of scattered promotional drops, the film has delivered a running mood board of mischief, rhythm and comic unpredictability.
Choozay And Bhootni Ka Give Udta Teer Desired Push
The freshest talking point in the campaign is Choozay, a track that injects street swagger into the film’s musical lineup. The song features music by Sachin-Jigar, lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and Emiway Bantai, with vocals by Jigar Saraiya and Emiway Bantai. More significantly, it marks rapper Emiway Bantai’s Bollywood soundtrack debut, his first-ever original film song for Udta Teer.
That detail gives Choozay extra pull. Emiway’s entry into a mainstream Hindi film song gives the track a headline-worthy hook, but what makes the release work is timing. Coming so soon after Bhootni Ka and the trailer for Udta Teer, it pushed the trailer’s quirky energy into full song mode and suggested that the soundtrack would be closely tied to the film’s comic world rather than functioning as a separate add-on.
That distinction matters because Bhootni Ka helped define the film’s internal language early. The trailer introduced chaos and cheek, while the song reinforced the idea that Udta Teer is leaning into a deliberately oddball space. By the time Choozay entered the picture, the soundtrack already had a shape, and the new song simply broadened its flavour.
Film Details And Release
Backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Udta Teer stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in a spy comedy directed by Aakash Kaushik. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga and Achin Jain, and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 23, 2026.
The pairing itself explains part of the campaign’s appeal. Ayushmann’s comfort with eccentric, high-concept material and Sara’s flair for playful screen energy fit neatly into a genre that depends on timing, confusion and character-driven chaos. The promotional material so far is selling Udta Teer as a zany espionage comedy with enough music, colour and attitude to stand out in the pre-release crowd. That is why the trailer and both songs feel less like separate marketing pieces and more like parts of one sharply pitched theatrical package.
