Vaani Kapoor’s Mandala Murders is getting reshoots before its 2025 Netflix premiere. Director Gopi Puthran and his team have returned to the sets to film extra scenes, even after wrapping up the main shoot earlier this year. The crew has been spotted filming at different locations, including Madh Island to modify scenes based on editing feedback.
Scenes From Mandala Murders To Undergo Reshoot For Improvisation
Reports suggest that the crime thriller needed a few changes to make it more gripping. An insider told Mid Day that the show’s layered storytelling and intense action sequences posed creative challenges.
After reviewing the first cut, the makers felt some moments needed more impact. So, they decided to add new scenes and adjust some existing ones to increase the suspense.
With Mandala Murders, Kapoor takes on a long-format project, playing a strong investigative role. The series also features Surveen Chawla, Jameel Khan, and Vaibhav Raj Gupta in key roles.
Final Shoot At Madh Island
The final phase of filming is happening at Madh Island, where key scenes are being shot to connect the show’s multi-plot storyline. Insiders reveal that the shoot will wrap up within a week, after which the post-production process will be finalised.
The series follows detectives Rea Thomas and Vikram Singh as they investigate a chilling string of ritualistic murders linked to an ancient secret society. Set in the eerie village of Charandaspur, the story weaves together myth, murder, and destiny. The show promises a thrilling experience, intertwining victims, survivors, and truth-seekers in a dark and unpredictable game of fate.
