The makers of Vanvaas have just dropped its latest song “Geeli Macchis.” It gives fans a fresh, peppy track to groove to ahead of its release. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film presents a modern twist on the classic Ramayana, exploring the emotional concept of children exiling their parents—a storyline that strikes a chord with today’s audiences.

The upbeat and vibrant tune provides a stark contrast to the film’s emotional depth, making it a fun addition to the otherwise heartfelt storyline.
The music video features Vanvaas leads Utkarsh Sharma and Simratt Kaur dancing together with an infectious energy. Simratt’s sensuous steps and playful chemistry with Utkarsh bring a flirty vibe to the track, making it a quintessential item number. Nana Patekar is also seen enjoying the lively atmosphere.

Vanvaas has been produced by Zee Studios and marks the third collaboration between Anil Sharma and the studio. The director and studio previously worked together on the hugely successful Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and its sequel, Gadar 2, both of which became massive blockbusters. With Vanvaas, the team is hoping to once again deliver something unique and exciting for the audience.
Set for release on December 20, 2024, Vanvaas stars Nana Patekar, Utkarsh Sharma, and Simratt Kaur in the lead roles.
